Subsequently, at the symposium, Xu Song warmly welcomed Mr. Madius, and Mr. Xie Zhiwei introduced in detail the company’s application and exploration in the fields of grid-side energy storage, commercial energy storage and residential energy storage. The company attaches great importance to and highly values the Malaysian market, hoping to participate in Sabah’s power grid construction with excellent product strength and rich engineering experience.

Xie Zhiwei also introduced the progress of Western Power’s investment in 100MW PV power generation project in Sabah. The project is currently progressing smoothly, and the project company is about to sign a PPA with Sabah Electricity Sdn. Bhd, and project investment is also about to be completed. In addition, the project also requires 20MW of supporting energy storage equipment, and SFQ is welcome to participate.

Mr. Madius, the director of SESB, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception by SFQ Energy Storage and welcomed SFQ to enter the Malaysian market as soon as possible. As Sabah has nearly 2 hours of power outage every day, residential and commercial energy storage products have obvious advantages in emergency response. In addition, Malaysia has abundant solar energy resources and vast space for solar energy development. SESB welcomes Chinese capital to invest in PV power generation projects in Sabah and hopes that Chinese energy storage products can enter Sabah’s PV power generation projects to improve the stability of its power grid system.

Cornelius Shapi, CEO of Sabah Electricity, Jiang Shuhong, General Manager of Western Power Malaysia Company, and Wu Kai, Overseas Sales Manager of Western Power, accompanied the visit.
